Oh no! My camp used to get milk from Yasgur Farms, too. And I am the proud owner of one of those tie-dyed Yasgur Farms shirts.

I drive by the farm on my way to camp every summer...looks pretty much like a farm, except there are two huge hippie statues by the road.

Cute idea with the One Cold Hand...I think a "One Cold Foot" should be next, with lone socks. Although most socks look the same. My dad calls lone socks "orphans"...although I suppose they're missing a sibling/spouse, not a parent?

I'm in Claremont, and we're strangely between all the fires. The air quality is pretty bad - they've moved all the gym classes indoor, and they canceled by horse-back riding lesson because it's bad for the horses to be riding in this air. I just flew in last night after fall break and seeing the orange glow from the air, in both directions, was frightening (but strangely beautiful).

Yeah, there's definitely been other strips where Calvin's mom says that Hobbes is getting dirty and needs a bath. The reason that this one is so rare is probably because it's stupid. (I love C&H, but this one's pretty bad.)
