I have played the Wii (my friend's, not my own, sigh) quite a bit at this point, and I have to say that the people who break their televisions have no room to complain. In every Wii game that I've seen, there is a screen reminding you _every time you start a game_ to securely wear the wrist strap to prevent such occurences. It doesn't flash by quickly, either.
I hope a few dumb kids don't ruin the fun for the rest of us -- this is starting to remind me of why there are now "hot things are hot" labels on every cup of coffee you buy.
