so the drink, not as surprising, I've probably done it before.. perhaps in an effort to be "healthier" in my "who am I really kidding anyway" days.

My shocker takeaway on all of this is that there's a Taco Bell that serves breakfast!! That's something I've never seen before!

growing up in Fl, we've taken many a school trip to Disney World, and therefore, as a teen, Space Mountain became the place to try it different ways.

we've done it where we put the bar down as loose as possible, and then to ride the ride, try to turn around and face the back, not all the way of course, but it's interesting that way...

of course, there's the close your eyes version, but like a previous poster said, the new refurb helped with the light situation...

and our personal favorite was to go with a big group of people (6 is great, so you've got the whole train) and sing a song, very loudly, while riding.. something silly like Mary Had Little Lamb or Twinkle, Twinkle.. silly, but fun!

I've been to Disneyland, too, and was surprised to find that I liked it better than wdw!

Disneyland Paris does in fact, like many other said, have Sleeping Beauty's castle, as well. BUT, the thing that really sets it apart is that it also has a dragon below it!

I grew up in Florida.. Cinderella's is my castle.. I've been to California, and Sleeping Beauty is Walt's.. I love that Cinderella's soars above everything else... It is the icon of WDW, and Magic Kingdom... Sleeping Beauty isn't the biggest, even at the park itself, but it's the classic... I love them both!!

Growing up in Florida, Pirates at WDW was always one of my absolute favorites... And then this year I was able to go to DLR, and experience it for the first time, and I was just blown away. It's one of the only rides that I deem even better "out there" ;-) Everyone told me it was, but those were people who grew up out there, so they were biased!! lol.

Haunted Mansion should be next. It's got a huge following, so getting info certainly shouldn't be a problem Walt had lots of fun ideas when he first started creating it.

(oh, and one other point... You don't HAVE to have tens of thousands of dollars to get into Club33... well, to be a member, yes, to get inside, it's not that expensive.. lol.. The Walk In Walt's Footsteps tour gets you inside... Plus a tour of the park and lunch!)

There's a recipe we make around here called "Spaghetti Pie" -it looks like that- like someone else said, similar to lasagne.

mix the noodles with ricotta cheese, an egg and some parmagana.. form into crust, top with sauce and bake, then add cheese.. nothing new reallyo.

Shoot.. just close your eyes on the Pooh ride, it's the same track as Mr Toad. I know, i know, not the same thing.

I leave for WDW in the AM! YAY!!

Having grown up in Florida, I've seen quite a bit come and go through those gates... I'm currently mourning the loss of Tarzan Rocks! (taken over by a dumb Broadway inspired Nemo show) and the original concepts of The Living Seas (Again, warped by Nemo) I know Tarzan seems silly, but it was an awesome rock and roll style show with live musicians and singers and aeroacrobatics that were just unbelieveable!!

I miss the sky way too.. what a great way to avoid the crowds.. of course teenagers threw things and ruined the fun for everyone!

What about If You Had Wings (where Buzz Lightyear is now) -- all about if you could fly. Great imagery!!

I only went on 20,000 Leagues once or twice, but even as a child, it annoyed me because i could see the strings on the "fish" and the glue holding the shells on things!

Carousel of Progress has seasonal hours now, it's not open all the time... and they've updated the final scene with Grandma playing a virtual reality game and a voice controlled oven.. but all the rest is the same.. except the song.. they changed the song.. I was sad. I doubt they'll ever take that one out as it was one of the attractions featured at the World's Fair.

also in 2nd grade. We didn't watch it in our class, but I remember vividly walking down the hallway going to the bathroom or something, and a third grade girl came tearing down the hall saying "The Challenger exploded! the Challenger exploded!!"

Living in Florida, we watched the shuttles launch all the time, so something like that was just so scary and wierd. My mom took a picture of the TV that day... that burned in your brain Y-shaped smoke trail.

My grandparents had been to visit us and flew out of town that day. They were actually in the air when it happened, and if I remember correctly, could see it from their aircraft. I do remember them telling us that there was a priest or minister on the plane who led everyone in prayer. I guess they must have made some sort of announcement over the speakers.

Every time I watch a shuttle launch, I hold my breath and pray that this never happens again.
