@C-dub: You're right of course. Protests are fine. I would prefer they protest in a way that is not so rude and obnoxious.

@Munky: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, and "Freedom of Stupidity" go hand in hand. You can't really have one without all. Anyway, you're right that some cults believe some loony-toons things, but Christianity is not a cult... and no, most of us don't believe in unicorns. See above explanation by Sid (thanks btw).

Some people believe the Earth is 6000 years old... That's fine with me if you can explain the ton of evidence that contradicts that. If you think you can, go for it! That's what science is. Discussion, argument and skepticism. If you don't allow all three (in ANY discussion), then you're not doing science; you're doing politics.

If a certain plant is releasing untreated waste, that is a serious problem and that company should be dealt
with and firmly (and people should know about it)!

Note though that the stuff you drink from your tap is filtered and treated with chlorine more often than not. Granted, it is not "clean" for sure, but it isn't exactly crawling with E. coli and strangely enough, I've checked. You drink more mold from you faucet-head being dirty than bacteria from you tap water.

This IS a big deal, but unfortunately this video presents it so poorly that people won't buy it and will generally consider it as much as they consider PETA or other such groups... sad.

New studies are coming out frequently now that what we put down the drain is really hurting things... one very unexpected example is birth-control drugs. I didn't see this one coming, but it turns out that the boatload of estrogen going down the drain as a result of the drug might be tainting fish populations. It turned out in one river that a 10:1 female to male ratio had occurred in trout populations with an abundant amount of other mixed gender fish as well. I'll tell you now as a geneticist that 10:1 is NOT GOOD. WE NEED BETTER WATER TREATMENT!

It's oddly dependent on your strategy. If you try to follow them with your eyes, you're stuck. If you defocus and just observe the mass, you're all set. Any yes, it does remind me oddly of playing a healing class in WoW. hehe

Consistently got 2/4 on Difficult and perfect on the easier ones. It's a little annoying though when 3 or 4 converge. Makes you momentarily look there to see which is the one you were trying to track... then you lose one of the other ones.

I highly recommend the following book:
The Deep: The Extraordinary Creatures of the Abyss

http://www.amazon.com/Deep-Extraordinary-Creatures-Abyss/dp/0226595668/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-5887688-4020751?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1187044186&sr=8-1

I happens to be "on sale" at amazon, but I don't know if it ever is "not" for sale. Anyway, I have it and I love it.
