The tree won't die, but it won't be very happy to have that "jewelry" either.

That is not an amusement park, that is simply a street-faire. We have lots of them also in Mexico, and while they may look extremely boring, they are quite exciting at times (imagine a thing going round and round without a security belt... that is fun!)

There is also one retractable 3 stories house in Mexico-City, it was built in the 90's and the retractable floor is to allow the room to receive sunlight (was made for a woman that couldn't move much)
