I think you've got the wrong blog there, Mike.

My RSS feed displays the nine latest stories, and that along with tabbed browsing, means I don't need forward/back links, but if others want them- go for it.

The NeatOmeter is a good idea, as are the tags. The only other thing I can think to suggest is the ability to reply to other people's posts- this would help build up a community.

@ Ben, there's nothing reverse about it. Advantaging one gender over the other, whether they be male or female is sexism, pure and simple.

While I'm happy with the the idea of equality in the boardroom, this is the wrong way to go about it. Whoever is most suited to the job should get it, regardless of gender, should get it. A more qualified man losing out to a less qualified woman simply because there's 'too many men' on the board already is just stupid.

Here in New Zealand, the top three positions of power are held by women (Governor General, Prime Minister and Chief Justice, and until recently,
Attorney General). They got there by being the best person for the job, and not as a result of some arbitary quota.

I feel sorry for his opponents; there's no glory in winning and much shame in defeat.

Also, I wonder how they work out his weight class. The muscles he does have could a lot bulkier than those of his competition as he could have more mass in a smaller frame.

Even so, the fact that he can do this and win is brilliant. I smell a movie in the making.

I've been using Adblock plus ( http://adblockplus.org/ ) on this site since the annoying, flashing magenta & yellow ads for some book showed up a while back. (I have no idea what it was, since I blocked it then and there- how's that for effective advertising?)

Now I know you need the ads to generate revenue to keep going. While I like using this site, I like the continuous use of my eyeballs more.

Please, just go back to plain text/images (ala Google). If you want ads to catch our attention, make them clever, not annoying (or false for that matter- telling me I'm the 1000000 visitor, or pretending to be a Windows security warning is just wrong, if not illegal).

Better yet, have you considered alternative revenue models like Freemium? ( http://www.wired.com/techbiz/it/magazine/16-03/ff_free?currentPage=all ) It's where your basic content is free, but subscribers get the exclusives.

So, Road- sorry, Beep Beep is really an ego-centric narcissist, who only cares about hearing his own name?

Poor old Wile E. Coyote, he really should have got his lunch.

Not bad, but I've seen better: Bare Choons had a good flash one (at least until their site fell over), and while it's buggy, you just can't beat Crayon Physics in terms of fun ( http://www.kloonigames.com/blog/games/crayon/ ).

It makes sense to me; our modern industrial society is out to get us, we have created a world that stresses us out, that harangues and harasses us, that invades our every concious moment until we go insane.

We can't tell where it ends and we beings, it's to the point that if we try to objectify it and see it for what it is, people think we're crazy.
