Wibble! - ah, the august organ known in our family as The Bile Duct. The kids occasionally pick it up and my PiL's house and are frequently surprised by how little of it's actually true.
The conkers thing is not by any means universal. There are two horse chestnut trees in our school's grounds and the kids play happily with no interference from staff.
Does anyone else find their eye irresistably drawn to the items within the circles? I presume it's years of having things circled to draw attention to them.
How utterly marvellous. We encourage our two to play with fire, but though the school's quite good about such things (we had them all in the playground building snowmen while neighbouring schools were closed, yesterday), I can't see me persuading the head to do this.
I've always wanted a DS21. A staggering achievement to make the one of the most beautiful cars in the saloon, and one of the ugliest in the estate version.
It reminds me of Gilliam's Brazil - the pushing through ovewhelming bureaucracy.
