Took our youngest's class to Warwick Castle last week - she didn't like the spiral staircase at all, though after five of them totalling 30 steps she was a bit happier.
Splint - yup, sleep paralysis is very scary even when you know what it is and you know it'll pass. The literature all says that it only lasts a few seconds, but that's not my experience. I've counted breaths up to around fifty before now - deep breaths, too, not panting. Not only isn't that "a few seconds", but it feels like forever.
I'm proud to say I don't use any of them! Some of us are still stuck in the era of newsgroups - uk.rec.sheds is where we tend to congregate. Sublimely silly and the tea's good.
Our old cat can barely make it onto the back of the sofa, these days. She's not suffering, but at an estimaged 22 years this spring she's not what you'd call sprightly.

That Shorpy photo is of extraordinary quality of you click through to the full size copy. However much I like digital photography, large-format film had a lot to offer.
Really? I'd have thought soccer was - played in near enough every country in the world by billions.
(Sorry, couldn't resist - if it doesn't make sense, "ane" is French for donkey - peau d'ane is "donkey skin")
