The British Museum one is amazing. The picture makes it appear regular and symmetrical, but it ain't. The whole thing is flowing and organic. I remember the space before it was covered, and it's a vast improvment.
It's in a part of London with a lot of corporate money - and I imagine it's important for them to impress people. Quite which people and why is open to question...but I'm sure the coporate bods can come up with a convincing justification - so that's OK then!
Anyone who puts something that thin in their pocket and sits on it, is mistaken if they think it isn't going to bend. Were it rubber, it might spring back...
Just watched senior cat Meep do that to least of cats Claud. The difference being he's more boisterous and instead of creeping up on them just pounces. The middle two, Chlorine and Fluorine (Clorrie and Florrie) don't take any nonsense, either, though they sometimes retreat to somewhere out of reach. Meep always stands her ground even when Claud is doing drop-bear impressions.
It's a shame the photos on the web page seem to have been taken with a phone or at least a really naff camera. The place is crying out for some decent photography.
