Our bookshelves are deep enough to take two rows of paperbacks - but that's awkward if you want to get to the rear rank...so I've made some of the shelves pull out on drawer runners so you can get to the back row easily.

I've always wanted to launch my own brand of specialised cards...

"Sorry to hear about your hysterectomy,
you've lately looked a nervous wreck to me.
Let's hope now your plumbing's missing,
you'l be up to more than kissing."

That kind of thing.

If it's reading for myself, then it'll be My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell. For the kids - oooh, any of several. Probably Five Minutes Peace by Jill Murphy....
"The children were having breakfast. This was not a pretty sight. Mrs Large took a tray...."

There is, in one way, an advantage over the analogy with Egyptian tombs. In this case, the curse will actually bite you. Placing small samples of the waste that decay at the same rate as the bulk storage but that are easier to get to would at least only harm the first few people who poke it. Not a great solution, but perhaps the lesser of two weevils. A bit of cunning design that makes it impossible to remove before the effects become obvious would stop the samples being removed and scattered.

There's one round here you could gladly have. It's been feral for about three years - big white thing with brown splotches (though they could be engine oil from its habit of hanging out under cars with the cats, though it's such a mean critter it's probably chewing through brake pipes). It's survived cats, dogs, foxes and bad winters.
Our son hates it - reckons it sits outside looking at him. It's out there now, looking globular.

Fascinating - but for me what's nicest is watching to craftsmen working easily together.
Our son and I work together - and though we occasionally rub each other up the wrong way, there are times when it flows nicely - just like the video.
