As a person that follows cycling very closely, I know that George has had these for a while. For whatever reason he has not had them removed. If I had to guess as the reason I would say it is because they still deliver blood and that is very very important for leg muscles. Perhaps he would lose some circulation.
But the veins haven't effected his performance as he is one of the older (in not oldest) guys in the peloton and has competed in 15 Tour de France races teing him for the record this year.

The funniest thing about this is that the typography is absolutely horrific. I hire lots of design students and interns and I wouldn't have got past the "What I DO" part, I would have tossed it. Horrible kerning and spacing and it gets much worse the farther down you go.

The problem with this type of art is that most artists creating do not have the balls to create anything unique with the materials. It is always a remake of a famous photo of Marlyn Monroe (like this one), James Dean,or Elvis. This is just crap.

I thought this was going to be cool, but then realized that everything this guy does is just pseudoscience and his "inventions" are little other that novelty sculptures. However, the way he speaks of them makes me believe that he thinks his "inventions" are in fact functional and real. For example: his time machine.

This guy is a hack, kind of a fraud since he really didn't even make a telegraph, and not Neatorama worthy.

Stem pads never worked on BMX bikes anyway. They were just something else to sell. I have been a competitive cyclist for over 10 years and I have never, not once, hit my junk on my stem.

They should have invested their time in making an unbreakable collar bone. That would be a winner.
