Where are the pictures of the Maasai? Weren't they supposed to be in tribal dress? How can they photograph a guy in a green thong or a cow, but not a group carrying spears and shields?
I think that the translation of Star Wars into other eras and/or cultural influences (i.e. 1942, samurai, etc.) speaks to the archetypal strength of the characters and mythic basis of the story.
It needs ape hangers and a stretched out frame. Maybe some leather side bags. A skull that shoots out flame would be good on the front. And spinners, that would work ....
What I find fascinating is the method the different people employed to form the individual rectangles. Some people seemed to really waste a lot of time in getting to the picture.
For some reason I cannot see a fighter pilot "freaking out" because a bird was inside the cock pit. Would the owl have caused chaos on the flight? Maybe. Would the chaos be because the pilot lost control while screaming like a little girl? I just can't go there.
It's still cool though. I could just be a lot cooler.
