Morris's Comments

The first time I rode Space Mountain, they had a technical problem, and our space ship stopped while we were going up the first hill.

The lights came on and we could see all the inner workings of the ride. It was pretty cool but I sort of felt a little sad, like Dorthy when she saw "the man behind the curtain".

I am not sure I agree with his ABC conclusion.

I do not care if my line is the fastest (BB). I care that I don't choose the slowest or BB. According to his math, I have a 4 out of 6 chance of choosing one that isn't the slowest.

I don't see Soylent green happening, at least not as the primary food source on the planet. The existing people would be living in a closed system. It would take more energy to raise the next generation, than could be found in the previous one. So, doing such a thing could only buy time.

As for the question... Sure, but I would need a lot of ketchup!!! Heck, who knows what you will do if you are starving. The guy in "127 Hours" cut his own arm off to survive. Eating Soylent Green sounds a lot better than having to do that.

I had planned on doing this with my daughter, who just happens to be 10 as well. We started off pretty well, but forgot about it after the first few months.

It is amazing to see the change in the little girl. Not just her appearance, but her expressions, her interests in dolls, then clothes as she aged.

The Muppets were a regular part of SNL in its early years. If you haven't seen Scred and King Ploobis, from the land of Gorch, then you are missing out on some great Muppet humor.

So, it seems fitting that Cookie Monster help reunite the Muppets with SNL once again. Too bad Jim Henson cannot return with them.

I live by the rule that you base your opinion on what somebody means, not on what they say. We all say things the wrong way. If you give someone the chance to clarify what they meant, 99% of the time unexpected disagreements are just misundrstandings.

This woman made an obvious gaffe. She is infront of a camera, under pressure and trying to think about 10 things at once.

It is funny though.

I remember my childs first serious injury (hopefully last). She broke her arm, and I cried more than she did.

I still chuckle at the first time we left our daughter with someone else at night. My wife and I decided we needed some time to ourselves, and went to dinner and movie and left our daughter at Granny's. She called in the middle of our date and said "You need to come home right now!!". When we explained we couldn't, she said "But I KA-WHY-ING!".

Amazing to think what that is like. I think I might enjoy sky diving, but I don't think I will do such a thing unless I am in a plane that's on fire.

...Then I would be like- Yea baby!!! Otherwise, I am too chicken.

I have a friend, who I have known since childhood, who passes out everytime he gets a shot. He is in great health, athletic and not anemic at all. Yet, everytime we got vacinations in grade school, he would pass out in 30 minutes. It made no difference how much he ate prior to the shots. The poor guy lost lots of cool points, passing out like that.

Perhaps, in some cases, the adverse reactions people have with blood donations are some kind of autonomic reflex, rather than simply being anemic?

Call they author childish, but who believes the Hostess marketing team was not aware of the potential gag?

This would be like thinking the 70's hit "My Dingaling" and "Christmas Balls" has no hidden joke.

My daughter has a Robo Hamster (Roborovski). He does the same thing. They are very gentle and rarely bite like larger hamsters, but you can't let go of them or their gone!!

It's best to keep them in a plastic ball, if you want to play with them.

I was watching "Driving Miss Daisy" last night, and recalled the sceen where Morgan Freeman's character has to stop on the side of the road to use the bathroom dispite several stops for gas.

Of course, the reason is that he was not allowed to use the bathrooms at the gas stations.

Wonderful Images. I don't think these artists hate civilization. They are fascinated by what things might look like.

Chernobyl in Russia, is a great real-life example of what things look like when nature takes over a city.

Since the citizens had to abandon the city on a moments notice, you get a rare view of what this would look like. There are lots of sources for this, and some TV programs.
