I was 5, and in first grade. We all watched on TV when the shuttle went up, and we all saw when the shuttle exploded right before our very eyes. We were all pretty emotionally involved because our teacher had told us there was a teacher on the shuttle. It was sad, and I remember hearing about it for a long time afterward. My mom's a teacher, too, so I guess we took a special interest in Christa McCollough.
Buzz phrases being heard around the AW watercooler that I totally hate: "Throwing under the bus" - New one on me, but apparently pretty common, means to incriminate someone to get yourself out of a sticky situation "Moving Forward" - I agree with Pat J on this one, where exactly is forward. If you're moving, aren't you pretty much always moving forward? It pretty much goes along the same lines as "dead bodies" or "pre-recorded"
And I really hate "War on Drugs", although that's not a typical "corporate America" buzz phrase. It just makes me think that there are soldiers fighting this "war", when its just a bunch of pompous republicans. Yeah, you know who you are, and how much money the government makes off of this supposed "war".
Whoever he is, this guy is fequin hott! Can't imagine doing this for 8 years. A project only a man would embark upon, a woman would look in the mirror and say "A photo? Today? You've got to be kidding me!"
Icebreakers gum used to dissolved in your mouth after chewing it for a couple of hours. It would turn into this nasty pulpy thing. I guess it's not a new invention afterall!
Well, he speaks French, Italian, Irani, Japanese, and that's all I got out of it, but he speaks the Italian pretty well. His French isn't too decipherable, but he's saying "Good, pretty, and cheap, only (I didn't catch how many) rupies". Not bad for a street kid in Mumbai...I wonder where he learned all those languages...
I liked ChoChan's "Diving". The rotund ladies are great! I can only imagine that the artist keeps corpulent women close to his heart, and rightly so. They have a lot of love to give! I also love the bright colors of the design, but that the artist only used those 2 colors to bring the point accross. Over all, one of my favorites if not THE favorite on the site.
*shameless plug* Book! Book! Book! Junk Mizuno of course, and Pete Fowler's Monsterisms are among my favorites...and who could forget the smorkin' rabbits!

It would be like falling in love with a blow-up doll!
Sick.
