How do people get access to vast libraries of films in order to create mashups like this one? Are such archives available to the general public?

I'm just curious. For those four months, how many hours per day are required to "create a course" as the listing notes? Does it just involve teaching a class for an hour or two and correcting papers etc. Could the teaching be done via Zoom from home wearing pajamas? Curious minds want to know.
