I already wrote my senators about this because it makes me really sad that such a sloppy law could be passed and hurt so many. My recommendation is that if this does go into effect, crafters and second hand stores should keep selling kids clothes and toys and just label them as "not appropriate for children as determined by CPSIA."

I can't believe Charlotte's Web didn't make it on there. When I worked at a video store we would put that on, and then halfway through start fretting: "Why did we put this on? It's too sad! Oh god, how are we going to watch this in front of everybody?"
Marshall's missing the point that yes, last week you could find gas for $4.01 at quite a few places around southern California, but as of yesterday, I wasn't seeing gas any cheaper than $4.35 anywhere in LA. The price has jumped insanely in the past two weeks.
