The current Tappan Zee bridge near where I live in Westchester County, NY, has a zipper which is in use every day. The Tappan Zee has 7 lanes; 4 are eastbound in the mornings, then 4 are westbound in the evenings (to accommodate NYC traffic). Very cool to watch.
We spent many summer days at Action Park, and not once did I ever see anyone ride that. Honestly though, I think the Alpine slide was just as dangerous, and a helluva lot more fun anyway.
My family comes from the Brighton Beach/Coney Island area; I spent a lot of my childhood there, as did my dad when he was a kid. His fav ride was the Parachute, which was closed long before I got a chance to try it. As for me, it was a toss-up between the Cyclone (of course) and the Carousel that used to be there - twas the only one I ever rode that one could actually grab the rings on. And if you got the gold ring? Free ride.
Who IS this woman?? Mrs. Dr. Doolittle? Not only do baby sea lions look to her for comfort when mommy is missing, magpies obviously have a few words with her as well!

On the other hand, hopefully he'll learn to keep his hands to himself and not to be sneakier next time.
"No thank you, I'll be staying in the lion cub exhibit forever."

Why can't we take pieces of eight on a plane?
