But it's true- when it comes down to it, we're all just monkeys, no matter how advanced we become.

He's been collecting people's hair for fifty years... weird. He's made it into a giant hairball... very weird. I wonder if he told all the people that he was keeping their hair... Reminds me of the crazy old barber in the Simpsons who pays people in hair... ^_^

The Romans were pretty rubbish at maths to be honest. They stole most of their technology from the countries they invaded. Maths was mainly developed by the Greeks, until the Romans invaded them and killed all their best scholars... and the earthquake that destroyed their greatest city and most of their technology... and I think they DID have negative numbers.
Romans make better soldiers. Greeks make better scholars. ^_^

I live in the UK and it doesn't really bother me. I'm sure the government has better things to do than spy on you constantly. But I have to say I'm definitely in the minority here. People are freaking out about it all over. And it doesn't really stop crime, which is still really high. It's pretty pointless scheme.
The speaker thing is ridiculous though. Who's going to listen to it?

Very good... reminds me of the model village we used to have in my town before it kept being vandalised... there were all these cute little injokes, and a motorized ski lift going up a hill, and a tiny zoo. This guy should make one... loads of people would visit!

I think that would have been bad even if she was in key, wearing good clothes and not dancing.

The police thought that it was "a brutal and barbaric attack" because this sort of attack happened all the time at the height of the UVF and IRA's power. Most of the time the victims of the vigilantes were not criminals but just people who had offended or got in the way of the terrorist groups. And no one even knows if this man actually dealt drugs or just happened to have a bad reputation. So a possibly innocent guy has been dragged off the street and covered in burning tar which stuck to his skin and possibly will not ever completely come off.
Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the method of fair trial and punishment.

I can't get past the first test... I've been able to touch type since I was about ten years old. I can type faster than I can talk, and I never need to check my hands to see what I'm typing. So having to completely relearn a whole new keyboard layout is so confusing...

It's really funny to see the first episode, Alan Davies's hair is so short... you should see him now!
If you want to see a funny episode search for one with Vic Reeves. He seems to know loads of really obscure facts and he's really funny too.
I think this show is probably the most nerdy thing since University Challenge... but that doesn't stop me constantly watching it on UKTV gold!

Its a chess piece warmer. If you don't like having cold chess pieces, you simply insert them into this machine and put hot coals underneath it. Then your chess pieces will be toasty warm, perfect for winning with.

Even cuter is guinea pigs eating grapes. They try to hold it still with their front paws... and they usually end up bursting it and scaring themselves ^-^

It doesn't really seem to work... I rated about 200 films and it recommended me loads of black and white war films... I don't know why it thinks I like that.
It doesn't seem to use ANY kind of system that would be any use...
