I'm calling bull**** on this one.

The girl referred to as "Pippin" (The one on the far left in the above photo) Is said to be 5'10" & 191.6lbs.

There is absolutely no way she weighs almost 200lbs. I'm not saying that I agree 100% with the BMI numbers. However this is either a mis-labled photo, or an obvious effort to skew perspective.

"Ah people so love to make fun of dumb people, but how many of the people who are laughing at her could come up with a coherent answer in the same situation?"

I'll tell you this much:

I've never met anyone in my life (barring the mentally ill) that, even under extreme pressure, formed a pathetic sentence fragment like our Miss S. Carolina's little gem:

"... I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and the Iraq like such as."

It's just hard to say, "she was just nervous" To me... that's not nerves. Miss South Carolina was obvious a cheater in High School

my 2 cents

Sid:

It's a strong point you make. I want to bring up what I think is an interesting vantage point.

Clearly, the subject matter is basis for greivance here. It's a religious painting containing a major religious symbol, and the substitution of cartoon characters for the original people in the work is viewed as offensive. No problem.

But... What if it was a painting of a 1950's american family sitting in their living room listening to an old radio theater broadcast. The message in this painting is the fabric of american culture. If we change the figures in this picture into the Simpsons, for instance, does it suddenly become offensive to american purists? I don't think so.

The point? I think it's just easier to be offended than it is to view things in a wider scope.

I still don't see how this is a "mockery." Is it making fun of Christianity? Doesn't appear that way to me. Does it to you? How?

It's just like replacing the famous Andy Warhol picture of the beatles with different faces. Is that making fun of the Beatles? No. Is it making fun of Andy Warhol? No.

Just does not compute.

Wow. I really feel like she's smart now. Give it a rest. You're only making yourself appear more and more pathetic with each one of these attempts at validation.

You want my approval? Just say something like, "You know what? I just got crazy nervous, and I sounded like a moron. At least everyone got to laugh."

Don't go on TV and the internet spouting off scripted trivia and speeches to try and convince the world that you're actually this great intelect.

That actually is more difficult to sit through than watching you blow that question.

Fazia:

Please explain how this is offensive... especially if you are "...not Christian, or Catholic… or whatever..."

This is about as sterile and non-offensive as it gets... especially on the internet!!! If this offends you, I would seriously reconsider logging back on.

I'm pretty sure that he can do whatever he wants with his phone. If all he did was hack it, then neither AT&T nor Apple can do a thing to him. He hasn't actually broken any laws.

Bottom line: Once he paid for it, it became his to mechanically alter however he pleased providing he doesn't actually use it in a way that violates the usage contract.

I like to drink Vodka + Redbull when I'm at a bar. If you go see a band and get there around 9pm... it's easy to drink 5 to 8 drinks by 3am.

Do it all the time... never felt any heart flutter at all. Perhaps the alcohol counters the caffine affect.

It could be suggested that perhaps sexual reproduction helps to form relationship bonds between the two parties, thusly leading to parental nurturing.

Surely the offspring of certain species in certain habitats were able to more easily survive under the care of its two parents versus what would have been the normal asexual reproduction method...

Just a quick thought.

Well... once you consider the fact that it appears to be produced by a company comprised of Latinos with the intention of making "latino" themed comedy... it's not that big of a deal.

Not that it should be a big deal any since it's just comedy.

You don't have to take the "leap of faith" into evolution to find proof that fish developed lungs, Peach. All you have to do is examine the lung fish.
