There is a very clear difference between permanent, and
"pretty darned well near permanent."

Perpetual motion must be maintained forever. There are no varying degrees of permanency.

Period.

First off:

If you were able to find a location to actually mine "space diamonds," they would basically be considered a completely separate precious stone apart from "Earth Diamonds."

They would probably actually devalue Earth diamonds, being considered an even more precious stone.

Think of them as being "Diamonds 2.0" The problem with that idea is that this massive space diamond wasn't mined at all. It's apparently a free-floating mass.

Well, I guess I'm out of order then for saying:

I think they are amazing images. If they are altered to some degree, does that not make them simply photographs that have been altered?

At what point is it no longer "photography?" Is it when you digitally edit a photo? Surely not. If so, that is to say that no skill is required as long as digital editing tools are available. I will not swallow that sentiment.

That's nothing. In the United States there are companies that not only sell dirt... the RENT IT!

These are the companies that rent dirt to other companies who hold motocross events and monster truck rallies.

Talk about low overhead.

I'm primarily a working musician, and I have been for the last 15 years. As far as studies go, I have a diverse background which includes psychology, mathematics, and physics.

My day job title is Operations Coordinator. I guess I basically live a double life. At work, I have to act like a responsible administrator... while at night, I spend my time making sure I feel terrible in the morning.

So, I did a bit of searching and it turns out these little guys are called Tarsiers. From what I can tell, they are maybe the world's smallest primate. If you search Tarsier in google images, there are several neat photos.

Good grief. That song truly is horrid. I made it about 20 seconds through before my fight or flight instinct kicked in and forced me to use the back button in my browser.

There is no such thing as a cacophony of birds. There could be a group of birds who burst into a cacophonous song. There could also be a group of birds that burst into a song of pure cacophony.

Please, no flaming. I'm not trying to sound pretentious. I'm just trying to point out the incorrect use of a word.

You misquoted the announcer in the sketch. I'm not tryin to be nit-picky. Just thought you might want to know.

"The Olive Garden. When you’re here, you’re like a family. A drunk loud family with taste buds dulled with cheap booze. But hey, the breadsticks and sandwiches are pretty good!"

He actually says, "...taste buds dulled **by** cheap booze." and "...the bread sticks and **salads** are pretty good!"

Seems pretty obvious to me that these are definitely starlings.

There are many clips on youtube of starlings flowing in and out of beautiful formations like schools of fish.

Actually, I am registered to comment on this website.
Also, I do use my real name.
Lastly, this is the comment section. I was not making incindiary remarks. All I said was that, from my perspective, this person seems to have some sort of mental mis-fire. It's just my opinion. I was later insulted for that opinion, and I tried to defend it. Once I realized I was being flamed, I simply stopped.
