Sounded interesting, so I started watching but I fell into the uncanny valley when his skull started stretching and compressing in an attempt to portray expressions.
I, for one, would like to see this puppet technology combined with the BigDog robot to make a quadruped dino. Although I must say that a buzzing two stroke dinosaur would be rather odd.
Here is a video that sort of corroborates raincoaster. You can see the flashes from lightning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQjOxXizk4w&feature=related Anyone here read Arabic?
I am a fan of this authors work; This is stolen from Celarent. This flash belongs on http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/307402 or at his site, http://terminal71.com/flash/mario.php Of course feel free to suck up starterupsteve's (the thief) bandwidth by viewing it there. I just wanted Celarent to get credit.
Interesting, but there are two barriers to using this for fuel production.
The first is to figure out how to attach the protein to some sort of substrate so that it can be used in a solar array (I doubt this will be difficult).
The other is a little harder: separating the dissolved hydrogen and oxygen from the water.

Ew.
