I remember watching Eric swim on TV. I suppose they ran the clip during something, as I'm pretty sure it wasn't the primetime event. Eitherway, I cried and cried for at least an hour at his courage. Call me crazy, but he has a special place in my heart. Truly an Olympic hero. I was afraid to watch that clip again just now because I didn't want to start crying at work (tears of happiness of course). Thanks Neatorama for brightnening up my day a bit.

Only time I've ever encountered items in Walmart ending in $.00 was when they were on sale. It seems to me that the individual units are on clearance sale, and the two packs are just on promotional pricing. At full price, the two pack would be cheaper than buying two individual deodorant sticks.

I'm probably being ignorant because I don't know much about the homeless population of San Francisco, but are they sure it will be eaten or discarded by the city fast enough so people aren't getting sick off spoiled food? I don't know much about eating food out of the trash, but in the dumpsters, it's not being advocated by a certain group - it's just something the homeless do. Is this going to cause people to start the blame game when people get sick? Now they can point a finger somewhere.

I would have liked to see an actual photo of the human next to the two dolls for further comparison.
