Best guess: a high-school prank. Kids get their yearbook shots taken with two letters each on their foreheads: when they appear in the book in alpha order, it spells out something. This could be the first in the string "LO-SE-RB-AB-YS-OW-HY-DO-NT-YO-UK-IL-LM-E?"
