When I was a kid the very first (and last) balloon I ever got slipped out of my hand. It was an elephant. I cried the whole day. Not a spoiled brat type of cry, but true, sincere sadness. I kept wondering what would happen to it, when will it stop going higher and higher, will it be lonesome. If not for that event, I wouldn't have looked twice at that video. Now, it almost brought me to tears.
Terry Pratchett is one of my all time favorite authors. I've always said that his books are brilliant paintings of our world drawn with the amazing colors of his imagination.
Indeed, some nice reflexes for a man who nearly choked on a pretzel.
@Adam: Nicely put.
@Chihuahua: Yes, hurray for Democracy! Democracy for which hundreds of U.S. soldiers and thousands of Iraqi citizens had to die. Democracy for which a whole country lies in ruins.
Don't get me wrong, I love democracy. However, it's not worth much if your dead.
Well in every place there are different choices, but from what I see here the two toppings are probably crushed pistachio nuts and crushed peanuts, since those are the most popular ones I've seen.
It might seem a bit strange to put peanuts on ice cream, but it's actually very good, since this isn't ordinary ice cream (it's handmade, very chewy and most importantly - delicious! :-))
Yup, after living in Istanbul for a couple of years I've experienced this first hand (not the same place, though) and it's really quite neat (and tasty :-))
Everything you wrote is absolutely wrong. I don't know where you get this stuff but as someone who has close muslim friends and knows much more about Islam, the sunnah, shariah and the Qur'an than you, I suggest refraining from speaking of topics you have very twisted and incorrect views about.
Even though I'm not american, never been to the states and haven't used US bills (or coins) other than the 50 and 100 I got 10 correct answers (By guessing on two of them). That's pretty good if I can say so myself :-)

Yes I did!
That video was a small masterpiece.
