Yes Manticore that is what this article is all about.

Typical bureacracy. First one person complains so we have to stop decades of tradition. Besides, if we allow them to do it every business will want to sell out on the sidewalk. I love it. Nobody paints with a broader brush than government. A simple exception could be made each year for the local girl scout troop but then that's logical and that's just not part of government.

The link takes you to an article from December 2009. The limited edition prints are long gone. As far as the list goes, with only 35 there are bound to be omissions but Les Paul should be on any list.

You can't just let the average citizen go running about willy-nilly cleaning up trash. Next thing they'll be painting over graffiti and trimming overgrown landscape areas. It'll lead to anarchy!

The guy was unemployed, I'm sure that he felt desperate and I doubt the money he spent on the lottery ticket would have made any difference in saving his house. I'm happy that he beat the odds and won.

I think a statue of RoboCop in Detroit would be a great idea. I'd bet that since there is a remake in the works the studio just might pick up the tab. Heck there's a statue of Jack Benny at the minor league baseball stadium in my town of Rancho Cucamonga, California. The reason, for those of you too young to remember, the city of Cucamonga was frequently mentioned on Benny's radio show as kind of a joke.

If this article was intended to come off as some kind of joke I missed it entirely. Without Serkan Toto's information I would have thought this was a real product. I did a search for Electro Smile and it would seem everybody else is under that same assumption. I for one am happy to know the real story.

Nobody has to pat your ass to get your credit card information. Less than fifty dollars gets you a portable reader from the internet and you only need to be in proxmity of a purse or wallet to collect the card's data. Chances are small that this will happen to you but so are the chances of a house fire and most of us have fire insurance. I think this is a great idea.

I never missed an episode back when it was on its initial run. Even as a kid I realized that it was being done with tongue in cheek but it was still fun to watch. I can't believe that Irwin Allen quashed a reunion show. That would have been good to see.

Another bit of trivia. In the unaired pilot the Jupiter II was named the Gemini XII but it was changed for the series because of NASA's Gemini program of the time.
I guess they thought people might be confused and think NASA was sending up a family in those rockets.

The joke I heard goes like this:
People that eat right, get plenty of excercise, don't smoke, don't drink and lead a chaste life, really don't live longer than the rest of us, it just seems longer.
