"A true feat of survival was watching Sarah Palin get through the debate last night without fainting. No, she didn’t answer the questions…or say anything of substance…But I gotta hand it to her, she found a way to just keep on talking as if she were just that.

I’ve never seen a bigger bimbo running for office in my life."

Lol...emo much? Nice off-topic randomness...

"That said, this kind of stuff always seems to get into the hands of those repressive regimes that just cant allow freedom of speech under their rule. But I guess it’s better than being hosed with bullets."

Repressive regimes don't generally bother with non-lethal weapons...that's why they are 'repressive'.

And it looks like commenter #1 is astroturfing for commenter #2.

Oh, and violet, you obviously lack basic facts...and it makes you look bad.

There is this site called You Tube on the internet that sometimes is a useful resource. You could also use Google to see if 'Evil Pundit' is just making things up or actually is being clever.

Although based on your verbiage, I'm positive you at least know how to use a thesaurus....just don't wear it out.

Why is it unreasonable to set a high mark for people wanting to become citizens of the United States? You do realize that most countries in the world have similar requirements.

And I know it's difficult for someone on the Left to parse facts, but there is a difference between legal and illegal 'immigration'. Your average 'undocumented immigrant' has no interest at all in becoming a legal citizen. They just want to work in the US. Fact of the matter is that I'd love to work in Italy or England, but it's basically impossible. And if I get caught working illegally, I'll be deported or possibly jailed.

Know the difference....understand the context. Chances are you'll probably have to rethink your entire political thinking if you do.

Having gone through 'Global Cooling', then to 'Global Warming'..then 'Climate Change', people get fatigued. Now that solar activity is entering a slow phase, chances are good that temperatures will drop.

'Greens' assume 3 things...

1. Global warming is occurring. Or climate change or whatever...the definition is unclear.

2. Global warming/climate change is large Man-made.

3. Man can actually do anything about it.

The proof is meager for the first point which weakens points 2 and 3. And the 'solutions' proposed would basically reorder your life and guarantee that your children would be poorer and less free than you.

Kyoto is falling apart in Europe...China has little concern about environmental issues and somehow it's Americans who are at fault.

People will start being concerned when the politicians and pundits concerned about green issues start acting like there is a crisis. As it stands, 'dignitaries' like Al Gore still fly thousands of miles each year and continue to live in huge mansions.

Admit it....this is all about centralizing power and weakening the American way of life....nothing more.

Families, businesses and individuals sometime have to budget and cut back...the government never has to do that. It just takes more and more and spends it...poorly. Very little of that tax money you send it actually makes it into improvements or infrastructure maintenance.

I've had jobs in the public sector, both at the State level and Federal. I hate to break it to you, but the main goal of any middle-level employee isn't to spend your tax money wisely, it's to advance and secure his/her career. Nobody can get fired and once you get high enough on the ladder, you get a pay raise ever year, no matter what the economy is doing or how much you've accomplished.

"Why the Stock Market Drop Doesn't Prove that Congress was Wrong to Reject the Bailout:

The stock market's record 778 point drop today will no doubt lead many people to conclude that the House of Representatives was wrong to vote down the bailout plan backed by both the Bush Administration and the Democratic leadership. Indeed, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has already made that argument. Here's why I think such claims are wrong. "

Most governors have little to no foreign policy experience...and generally speaking it's governors that are elected President, not Senators.

It's obvious that a conservative woman is a threat to the Democrat power base....how else can you explain the scrutiny? She's the VP, not the top of the ticket. Perhaps someday we'll hear about Senator Obama's connections with ACORN..perhaps. Especially since ACORN was slated to get a large chunk of that 'bailout' bill that didn't pass.
