JP 1's Comments
the rest of his comments were useless without a knowledge of who Christ is and what He has done for us, that was my point. you could use a little learnin too.

QUOTE: "I have been Jesuit educated for 8 years now and have studied in private, Christian schools for the last 17 years, so I know a thing or two about religion…"
well for someone so educated, you are sure ignorant of what Christ has done for us on the cross, back to your studies

I don't know how to say this, but I'll try. God's word specifically forbids homosexuality. I know, that's gonna step on a few toes, but what else are we supposed to do when God has already specifically said in His word that He has a problem with that?
But praise God, homosexuality is NOT, in any way, shape, matter, or form the unpardonable sin! But it takes repentance -- that is, a willingness to give up that sinful lifestyle. It's not the easiest thing in the world to do, of course, and even after coming to Christ, such a person may still struggle with homosexual desires for a while -- but Jesus will eventually bring that person around to a heterosexual lifestyle if they have truly repented and placed their faith and trust in Him.
I for one would never wish an eternity in hell on my worst enemy, and as much as I disagree with the homosexual lifestyle and as much as they may hate my guts for my stance, I still love them and am burdened for them and want to see them see the grievous error of their ways before it's everlasting too late.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
and for those who dont believe in God, no comments necessary.

if they are not married they should not be living together. pre marital sex is a sin to God and even though they may be abstinent (not likely) it is a poor witness for an unmarried woman to be living with an unmarried man that is not a relative, there employer (a Christian institution) is within their rights to uphold there beliefs and let her go if she remains unrepentant

well Ted looks like the people of North Carolina do, and quite obviously a majority of the American public does too, despite polls to the contrary.
The homosexual lifestyle is not something to be encouraged, as a lot of research shows it leads to a much lower life expectancy, psychological disorders, and other problems. Studies show that homosexuals, for a variety of reasons, have life expectancies of approximately 20 years less than the general population. Just like a lifestyle of smoking, drinking, etc., unhealthy lifestyles should be discouraged.

he brought it on himself. homosexuality is not as acceptable nor mainstream as the homosexuals would like to believe. he has obviously had problems in the past so a modification of behavior to draw less attention to himself would be in order.
that does not mean I condone the bullying either, obviously all parties were wrong.

all the pro-pot people keep claiming all the uses for pot like paper, rope, plastics, etc. but is anybody doing that? not that I have seen. it's just another excuse to be addicted, to worship an idol.
the dubious ailments would be all the different reasons for its use, which include normal everyday aches and pains that "patients" use as an excuse.
I've got friends that have dealt with minor pain for years just fine, and now have a card because they are in "pain". I am almost 50 and have diabetes, I could qualify, but why would I want to spend my time being stupid. I would rather know about the pain and adjust my actions to avoid further injury
