I can only imagine how warm a dog fur coat would be! I think it's a great idea. everytime i brush out my dogs, i think of things to do with their fur that when they are gone, i'll have something to remember them by. i've heard of people making stuffed animals out of their pets fur as well. i DO NOT think this is cruel. it does not hurt your dog to brush it out, actually it is good for them! this does not mean that people are killing their dogs so they can have a nice fur coat! you p.e.t.a people make me sick! animals were put on this earth for our use, as long as they are used in a controlled way. i think it is wrong to just shoot an animal to just shoot it, but i enjoy hunting. it's good tasting meat in the freezer! and this year, we plan on making deer skin mittens.
