well yes if you grew up in a nice white suburb you wont get the under currents of that comment.. i am a white woman who grew up in the sixties in a mostly black school. when you grow up that way you see comments differently.. like ' i cant be racist my best friends are black but yet i use the n word.. " yeah racist,, the connotation here was clear.. 'that one' was in mccains vernacular since he was an adult at that time. he got it, he knew it and he knew who he was provoking. .those on the fence older white americans who are still unsure.. THAT ONE.. meant alot.. it was racist.. his whole campaign has become that.. hes like his buddy boy bush.. a fear mongerer theres no difference.
