The movie that scared the life out of me was "The Exorcist". I saw it during it's re-release in 1978 when I was 19 and thought I was mature enough to handle it. Needless to say, I wasn't! While others in the theater laughed while exiting after the film, I couldn't move because I was paralyzed with fear and that fear stayed with me for weeks after. I shudder just thinking about it. And from what I've read, there were some very strange events that took place during the filming of this movie.
