As a woman, I'd prefer male type friendships, and it's hard to find a female friend who will walk beside, not get too touchy-feelie, and keep conversations about stuff, instead of deep emotions.
I can see the litigation now. Crazy ex wives and gfs using it as a passive assault. Or pandering to the fears of women not much at risk, and then they forget they have it in...
And for those truly at risk, however painful to the rapist, if he's all hopped up on adrenaline, that specific violence could easily become murderous.

I started getting tattoos at 35, I have four. I've had a dozen sexual parters, which may be a lot for a college student's "Iifetime" - less so anyone a decade older. I used to drink a lot at term breaks in college, used a little marijuana, but not since. I am a moderate drinker, and never cheat on tests, and have no criminal record.
This study would just throw up it's hands at me, since they never considered anyone like me. On the other hand, I'm agnostic, purposely childless, happily married, liberal and educated, so VERY deviant.
