Again, though, even though this story is kind of silly, its a great example of how media twists things to get more 'ratings' (or 'views'). This issue really had nothing to do with 'murder', virtual or no. She'd be in the same trouble if she just deleted his account or gave away his avatar's stuff, etc... it's really about cyber-crime.
I don't think he looks bemused (which means 'confused' or 'preoccupied'). How would an ironic situation (i know, i know, not the 'pure' defination of irony) make someone confused?
Actually "the deluge of information" is healthy for the brain. Although information overload (in any context - school, work, reading, problem solving, etc) may make us mentally exhausted, it does improve thinking ability over time, similar to normal exercise. This is why people can use puzzle games and such to keep mentally spry.
It's funny too, because overweight people often have high blood pressure, and overweight people are often made fun of for farting (esp men). so..
