I can't do either of these tricks. :-( Same reason why I coudln't do most slight-of-hand tricks when I was younger even though I was really interested in illusions: My hands are too stubby and ungraceful!
(I also can't play piano except for, say, 'mary had a little lamb')
I've actually found factual errors in bathroom readers before. It seems like thay don't fact check throughly, OR state as fact some things that are ambiguous or not completely agreed upon.
I'm not sure if this is one case, but I've always heard the Rx symbol was derived from the Egyptian symbol 'Eye of Horus.'

Wikipedia agrees with the Bathroom Reader, but wikipedia's accuracy is not absolute, as most people know.
Uh, I think the experts are jumping the gun. I think most of the people in the painting (but not all), have similar facial features... I'd guess that was just the artist's style for drawing women or softer features - and certian people done in his style end up looking like Down's Syndrome people. I could be wrong, but if so, most of the other people in the painting seem to have odd faces to me.
Overmedication is bad, yes. But there are some of us who actually need medicine. If I was not perscribed a medication for anxiety, I think I would have gone insane from wracked nerves and irrational fears. I feel like my old self again! :-)
This vid was well done, but the guy did come across as a little arrogant. :P
Neat references, and they lyrics were very well matched to the origial song's sound.
However, I wish they used a better singer, or perhaps a clearer recording? I had a little trouble making out a lot of what he was saying - which makes catching some of the quickly-passsing references difficult.
I hate it when there is a neatorama post about the same things their banner advertisement is about. I'm not neive about capitalism, but... for some reason it just bugs me..

joke-and-obscure-reference: I'm sure Susanne will be fine. After all, she's marrying Bill Stickers, now that his innocence has been proven.
