Americans aren't necessarily culturally stupid, but media treats us as such. it's sort of a vicious cycle... if they'd give us things in their original form, we wouldn't grow.

A few vocal (generally 'religious' fanatic) annoying people scare companies into 'softening up' their products. I severly annoys the rest of us, to be condecended to like this.

Although, I admit the I dont know if they got it from somewhere else, too.

first thing that popped into my mind was : are these chimps trained to respond to things to get food- as an initial way of establishing communicaiton (like with most animal training)?

If so, the it makes sense. Plus, we know the chimps aren't attending weekend frat mixers, smoking pot, and/or sleep depriving to study for tests or complete assignments. :D

Odd! Most men can speak / sing in falsetto, but it's rare to have such a robust range in falsetto.

He has a nice natural talent (even if the result is that he sounds like the opposite gender!)

I'd love to see him in an initial audition for American Idol, just because it would be great to see how surprised the judges wold be.

Ok, we all know that the lottery (or raffles at churches, etc) is a form of Gambling.

But... by the law, if the lottery was "GAMBLING", then how could it be legal in states where gambling was illegal?

I think he should get to keep the money, since if the state can consider the lotters 'not gambling' by virtue of doing it while gabling is illegal, then the state's people should be bound (or freed) by the same law.

This is just an attempt by the local government to not have to pay a winner, it seems.

I think that some books have low-friction covers (i know that some I have do). Thus, even if screwed in tight, some books would likely just *expectorate* out the side when moved around. then, with the tension gone, all of them would plop out.

Noticing the pattern in horrible translations to English.... Do the people doing the translations look up the most obscure and inappropriate 'synonym' to use? I mean, come on! 'Attaint' ?!

How obfuscatory!

"I’m a christian also and have seen him do amazing things, so why don’t they include a higher power?
I agree that it is in the box thinking, and these are very unrealistic scenarios. And may I ask what the five very stupid people are doing on these tracks?"

They are having a prayer session that you'll pull the switch.
