Unless one is at 90S you still have East and West, as well as North and South. If one is on the Nome Ice Shelf you would head East to "East Antarctica". Though pointing would be the best way to tell somebody how to get there.

Personally if I had south I would end up between East and West Antarctica, but once I stopped heading south I would then head north to either.

One thing to correct:
"The continent is labeled with “East Antarctica” and “West Antarctica” in this map, but of course you must go south to get to either."

but of course you must go NORTH to get to either.

Nice post. I think I have some friends that do the same, only locally.

It wouldn't suprise me if the majority of those using the services in the high "misery index" areas only needed to fill out a 1040ez form, which should take only a few mins. I bet the "accountants" in those areas are told to prolong the process just to make it seem more complex in an attempt to justify the cost.

So I would want to be there the first time somebody that lives on one of the upper floors forgets somethings and just realizes it when they get to the lobby.

This is another one of these 'oh look how bad it is to tax the wealthy' vacuum BS things. All of these articles keep looking at one thing, income tax, unfortunately what most people think of as income is quickly becoming a much smaller portion of the tope earner's income. Look at Buffett who has an effective tax rate of about 10% less than that of his secretary because the overwhelming majority of his earnings comes from places that are not income.

When all of these things talk about income they are really stating payroll and not the total earnings of an individual (Capital gains, dividend, estate). If they want to be serious about this they need to start treating all earnings the same. The worst thing you can currently do, per the way taxes are handled, is work for a living.

It all goes through cycles. First the media companies fight the new technology, then they finally see the obvious way to make money off it followed by the way to greedy time period which then leads to the next technology and it all starts over again.

I remember reading in the late 90s when mp3 was just starting to appear about how it was going to kill the CD. The article quoted music exces saying that the price of CDs were justified because of the cost to make the CD (~$2), burn the CD (~$3) and ship it. The exec actually said it cost them nearly $4 to ship a single CD. At the time you could buy a 50 pack of CD-rs with cases for ~$25 and USPS media mail was $2.65. I though I could do well just by heading over to CompUSA to pick up the blank CDs and sell them to the labels or take over their shipping by just using USPS.

Seems to work fine with IE9 but IE7 (work PC - client doesn't support anything newer) does not seem to work properly. Of course I stopped at 70 (64-6) wish I knew there were only 81.

I am pretty sure that the Little, Brown Handbook says that two spaces. Since the PC world was dominated by males it should come as no surprise that when they were designing this little world they didn't read the instruction manual.
