Personally I have no problems with creationatism being taught in schools as long as it is taught in a religous context along with all the other religous versions of how things came to be. Creationatism has no place in a science class.

Evolution should be taught in biology, there should be no discussion of any other non-scienced based theory in the class.

Since much of the drug industry is based off of evolution should people that don't believe in it take the drugs?

That is interesting that they say 80% of the budget goes to salary and benefits because I can tell you that isn't what the number I see tell me and trust me when I say they do not get more accurate then what I see.

I lot of the problem comes from the fact that there are just too many postal offices and that even though they have wanted to close some they get stopped, not by the unions but by congress because it seems nobody wants a post office to close in their district even if the union is ok with it.

This map makes no sense when looking at the northeast and CA. I guess they say that hurricanes happen far more often than earthquakes (455 in CA in the last week), wild fires are not natural disasters and given how long they have had a drought that must be just status quo.

BTW while writing this Santa Maria, a green city, had a 2.3 quake. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqscanv/

First why is Jason Vorhees driving that car.
Second that is a bait-and-switch article. They lead in with a couple lines about a water powered car then use twice the space to talk about a Honda fuel cell car that reads like it is the only fuel cell car in the world.

Sid if you follow the link you will find additional pages of the test. There is no science section but the math section is pretty good.

I am not so sure how science and WV of the 30s mixed.

Matthew 24:36-44 was writen because Matthew was not so good at holding his wine and really just wanted to warn others that being the first to fall asleep with 11 other guys was never good.

So of those are really loaded questions. I may have done better in english if more of it was who wrote what.

It would be interesting to see what the answers to some of the geography questions are. One of the few cities I can name in WV was not around then and I am pretty sure I would have a hard time streatching out 'because the government didn't think anybody would look there' as the reason.

he says. "I’m not stressed about losing my job..."

If I truely believed May 21 was the end I too would not be worried about losing my job because I would not have one. Why spend these last few weeks working?

The first combat submarine was the Turtle used in the US Revolution. It failed in an attempt to actually sink a British ship the HMS Eagle.

The Hunley was the first to sink a ship.

First I thought a super group like Cream would have a lot of bands in the 2 degrees (572). Then I thought Black Sabbath would have a good number since they went through just a few memebers (694). Then I noticed King Crimson (897), then there was Centipede (1089) and finally The Secret Police (1118). Then the meeting ended.

Anybody find one with more connections then The Secret Police?

Last I check Osama Bin Laden was not a political head or employee of a government orginization recognized by the world.

In other news British amusement parks have also stopped selling bottled water on fears that patrons could drown. One manager was quoted as saying “Every year thousands die drowning in water, but when was the last time you heard of somebody drowning in pop?”
