If he had a bag, just give it enough juice to run continuously and leave it turned on in the bottom of it. Worried it might need to be shut down? Install a remote switch elsewhere in the bag where it won't be noticeable - such as beneath the strap as thumbing a strap is not exactly an odd thing to do.

Scientists usually like to solve problems and help people.
Politicians usually like to cause problems and hurt people.

People want all their problems solved in ways reality won't allow.
Reality wants to cause problems for people as a punishment for being "teh stoopid."

What I have learned is:
PC users are two types; trolls and apathetic people. You do not feed the trolls and the other 97% don't care. The trolls fall into the two-sub-categories: the clueless still living in the 90's and those that just love getting people riled up.

Mac users are three types; overreactive people, trolls, and apathetic people. The latter two are the same as their PC counterparts. While the overreactive people are often genuinely confused and hurt by the PC trolls.

As for me, I've used a lot of systems in my time. They all suck.

First, it is not a compacter, it's a smasher. It does not compact, it squeezes liquids out for reclamation by the death star's recyclers before dumping the hard materials into the next level of processing.
