I'm calling shenanigans. 13 feet is the largest gator on record (though they didn't actually measure this one). But more importantly, what would it eat? Something that size would need to take in a half-dozen deer (or other gators) every day, at least.
Are you familiar with the old Dark Horse comic "Concrete"? It dealt with a human whose brain was transplanted by aliens into a body made from a flexible, concrete-like substance.
Since the body was so insanely heavy, he couldn't use regular furniture. So his living room had chairs & couches made from (what else?) concrete blocks. I immediately flashed to that when I saw this article!
I would disagree with one selection, Herbert Hoover. Though he's not well known among the general population (many of whom think that the American Revolution happened in the late 1800s), for those of us interested in the recent financial crash, he's pretty famous.
I really wonder if Tfark (besides being an anagram for Kraft) was suggested by someone from Drew Curtis' amazing "Fark.com". TFark could be a "Total Farker", who pays a small subscription fee to see articles before they make it to the main page.
