I know my opinion is not going to be popular but I wish the prices would stay high. It's the only thing that has motivated people to get out of their cars. I hope the folks who have found a different more environmentally sound way of commuting stick to it even if the gas prices dip.
I don't understand what that article has to do with squirrels feasting on coconut in a place where coconuts do not normally grow. Although it's a fantastic article for a vegetarian... thanks ;)
With regards to the vegan/vegetarian diets being cheaper... it totally depends on where you live. I agree that lately it's been more expensive than usual to buy veggies. I live in Vancouver, BC. In the past I could get a weeks worth of veggies for under $20. Much cheaper than buying expensive meat and cheese. When I visited family in Columbus over Christmas I could not beleive the price of vegetables. We are very lucking in the west.
I agree with Charlie. This to me seems like a media stunt to start changing Cyrus' image from a young girl audience to an adult audience. We have seen this over and over again with other celebrities. I can't say i'm surprised by this move.
Mooncake What you say is a nice theory but still does not always work. I lived with my husband for 3 years before we were married and it still ended. Most folks I know who are divorced lived with their partner for at least a year before getting married. Nobody gets married thinking that it will end. We get married thinking that we have the best relationship ever and we will be together forever. Things change, people change. Sometimes it's not fixable.
