Why does she need to point out that some of her grandchildren are Jewish? Or taking the time to inform the audience of her next story time topic? It seems irrelevant to let politics interfere with the Opera/Arts. I understand she(catholic) is trying to find a way to connect with a Jewish crowd, but if you had an opportunity to make a statement to a forced audience - wouldn't you make one of some merit? Say that I am wrong, I may not fully understand the situation... but how would you feel if political representatives US/Foreign opened every Ozzfest to City Philharmonic concert just for a PR opportunity?
it could have a continuously variable transmission. as rpms increase, roller weights/pullies expand through centrifugal force and cause the gear ratio to change. since the setup uses a belt with no fixed ratio, it is considered a single speed tranny. Not sure if it applies to this vehicle, but it's very common on 50cc mopeds and scooters.
I attempted this a few years ago. I managed to fill a small 8x8x8 shed of compact, sorted garbage. It was not an enjoyable experience to sort/recycle the aftermath, but was a good exercise in reducing my personal consuption.
I believe modifying outside of the mechanical aspect to its original design would be a mistake. I could understand adding themed animatronics to represent other cultures... even US characters if they are in equal or lesser amount to avoid changing the layout. Placing the cartoon features into the ride would just be gaudy and unappealing. I think most of its charm is the nostalgic factor and vintage vision of peace.
