Cute concept, but the different in artwork stings me. If it were a little more uniform, then I might like it a little better. (Detail in the face vs. cartoon style of the rest.) In this case, I think simpler = better. Look at the greasy looking shading on that buff, buff arm!

Last year I went on a trip to Europe, and we took a tour of the French National Library of Paris. It's a beautiful, huge, modern building, and I don't remember how many floors underground it was, but they had a similar automated book system. It was really weird!
