It looks like some sort of double-spherical pressure vessel. You'd pump air into the hole in the middle that would be stored in the two balls. I'm assuming the odd shape would give you double the volume without sacrificing strength.

It's a Suspenders-measuring device invented by Dr. Roderick Mulrooney in 1952. The hook goes over the shoulder, and the wooden handle goes... Well, Dr. Mulrooney didn't think about the logistics too well, and now starts his introductions with "In accordance with Megan's Law..."

I can't watch a bad cop show pilot without thinking of Max Power:

Producer #1: The thirteen of us began with a singular vision -- "Titanic" meets "Frasier".
Producer #2: But then we found out that ABC had a similar project in development with Annie Potts and Jeremy Piven.
Homer: Who's Jeremy Piven?
Producer #3: We don't know.
Producer #4: But it scared the hell out of us, so we slapped together
a cop show instead.
Homer: Police Cops.
Producer #5: Uh, no, actually, it was called "Badge Patrol".
Producer #1: But the network idiots didn't want a show about high-tech badges that shoot laser beams!
Producer #2: So we asked ourselves, "Who's behind the badge?"
Producer #3: Police ...
Producer #4: Cops ...
Producer #5: "Police Cops."

I can definitely see how this happened. For my bachelor party we shot full auto guns, and if you're not ready for it they can kick like a mule. As a 30 year old who works out the recoil surprised me, I can't imagine an 8 year old trying to handle one.
Although the range master there did specifically warn us about the uzi.

Hasn't Russia had missile trains for decades? Wikipedia shows prior art from 1969.

Of course I'm a noob when it comes to international patent law, so if we can go patent russian inventions, I call dibs on Tesla's work.
