Thats the same building that also was built and then they realized that cellphones, police radios and wifi wouldnt work in it. http://blog.cleveland.com/pdextra/2011/01/franklin_county_courthouse_pho.html
Oh my... I had one of those sets when I was a kid. Think I actually got one of the AM radio projects to work. RS's mistake was trying to be too big and too slick. You cant make billions selling electronics parts, so the DIY part of the business is always the stepchild to mobile phones and bling toys. They wasted billions in the early days of computers trying to compete with IBM with less-than-compatible computers. ....and they always treated their employees badly. (In all, their management never really knew what they were doing.)
"Helium -- when inhaled in its pure form -- is deadly." Ahhhhh,NO.... Helium is inert. But if all you have to breathe is helium you'll die of oxygen deprivation tho....
It's air, not oxygen (air is 70% nitrogen so yo could more aptly call it a nitrogen engine.)
And you know what they call a 3000psi compressed air tank? A rolling BOMB - and delivery vehicles in most countries are required to carry special warning flags....
monkeyhumper, here you go: Mac Hodges from North Carolina has been flying a slightly smaller B-29 for a decade in various r/c flyins and had this accident in the spring of 2010 at Cape Coral, FL when he could not pull out of a flat spin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhVP5otXg7k
He built a larger model and was back on the flyin circuit that fall...
Blind people driving here in FL is an everyday thing. Its safer not to go out on Social Security check day or early afternoons when the restaurants run the Early Bird Specials...
Guess he should have talked with his college professors; most of the kids I went to college with in the late '60s/early '70s did EXACTLY THE SAME THING.

Its been a disaster from the beginning...
A ducted-fan-pack is NOT a jetpack!

What could possibly go wrong??????
I remember watching "Crack in the World" on TV a long time ago and it was the first thin I thought of....

We've been under fire from the government ever since 9/11/01 and its just this stupid type of stunt that'll get our hobby banned.
