These have been increasingly popular for a couple years in other specialty brands and stores (Trader Joe's I think has them out front quite a bit now). I think it's more of a case of Lays jumping on the bandwagon. :)

The basic concept of a degree being required to be an intelligent, functional member of society is a load of crap and needs to abolished. A degree doesn't inherently make one employee better or smarter than another, and many of the most brilliant minds in the world are self-taught. That much is true.
That doesn't mean however that degrees aren't worth it - many are and if you make the most out of them they add a lot to your life. It's the degree for the sake of the piece of paper that is the true scam of current society - and the fault lies mostly in business and mindless HR departments, not in education.
Also, as someone who works in education, saying schools are raising tuition only because they can is a load of crap. Schools are raising tuition because costs of education are rising due to rapid technology growth and overall changes and competition in education, plus the funds coming from the government to many schools has fallen DRAMATICALLY. The professors are still largely overworked an underpaid outside of the high profile schools. Many, many schools are raising tuition to keep the lights on and keep from becoming the laughing stock of academia. The increasing need to compete in research drives up costs as well, since even if the school gets grants they still have to cover facilities overhead and startup costs.

Poorly phrased question. If this is something critical to your livelyhood, you care about when you need more by, not when you gobble the last one. In that case, they "last" an hour and a half, not an hour. If you care about the impact of the medicine on your ability to perform other tasks, like driving or take other medicine which may have interactions, then they will "last" even longer than an hour and a half until it safe.
The question should be at least closer to the subject, like "when will you run out of pills?"

Some dutch step-through bikes (omafiets) come in larger sizes. The bikes are heavier and sturdier than your normal bike in the US, so they can be built larger, but they are gaining some traction as city bikes.

Well, for starters, we should stop calling them women's bikes, because they aren't, especially in adult sizes. They are called step-through bikes, and outside of the US they are commonly used by both men and women because they are more convenient to use as city and cargo bikes because you don't have to go through contortions to get on one in normal clothes or with a loaded rack behind your seat.

This is definitely in the novelty camp. Not only is the source audio digital rather than an original analog recording (a benefit of vinyl if you are using analog recording methods is that there is no A-D conversion), but current printing methods aren't accurate/high resolution enough for a clean copy.
Vinyl is not inherently "warmer" than the original audio BTW, that depends on your equipment.

I hate to be that person, but that really just doesn't work as a Venn Diagram, since that is *really* not an intersection of the two.

There is a ton of music out there that has things to say, real things too. But the biggest sellers in pop music are always the empty ones, because it's not music for thinking, it's music for escaping - that's been the story of popular music for decades, centuries even (folk music). It's nothing new. The exceptions in the top charts are the ones that sneak it in when nobody's paying attention. :)
I'm not saying there isn't value in the above, there certainly is, and I respect what he's saying, but it's not even music or even really what I consider rap, it's just well presented beat-driven dialog with the occasional musical interlude - from someone else. Passionate sure, but creative or talented? I know I'm in the minority as this man is getting rave press right now, but I just don't feel it. It's *all* about the message.

There's nothing wrong with breastfeeding, but to do so in the classroom is definitely unprofessional. You simply shouldn't be caring for an infant in the middle of a lecture. Not only is it not part of your job, but it breaks your connection with the audience for the duration of the lecture, interfering with your work (professional speaking 101). She didn't have to cancel class, she could have just called a 10-15 minute break to attend to the child - this is college, your students are adults, they'll understand having to attend to a personal matter for a minute.
Considering the context of the class and her excuses I have to question whether the professor was actually making a personal statement with her conduct more than anything, but not knowing her I can't make that call.

This is really phrased wrong - the throwing away isn't the bad part - it's the fact that this shows how people are buying twice as much food (or more since many overeat rather than throw it away) as they need. Over-consumption is the real cause of all the waste.
Don't stock your pantry with food you aren't going to eat. Plan your meals for the week. Don't just run out for fast food because you're too lazy to cook what's in the fridge. Buying in bulk or on sale doesn't save you a dime if you throw most of it away.
