Shouldn't the eyes be from when Steve was the same age as the "chick"? Now this is 1/2 so-and-so with Steve Buscemi eyes, 1/2 so-and-so with older person's eyes.

@baro: It's so interesting, isn't it? We think a story like this is amazing, but then again, why wouldn't other animals of different species bond? I mean, we bond with all kinds of animals – dogs, cats, birds, horses, you name it – and they with us, so why wouldn't it happen when you take humans (human animals) out of the equation? Still, it's always super cool to see.

Ravens are REALLY intelligent (per a nature program I saw). I thought it was a joke at first, I was really skeptical, but ravens can figure out how to use tools to solve complicated problems. They can solve problems it would otherwise take a chimp or an animal on that level in the animal world (or a human toddler...) to be able to solve! I couldn't believe it.

Now wouldn't this make an excellent "human interest" story for the evening news? (CBS especially is just r i d i c u l o u s with those – always some story to keep people hooked: on losing weight, how to wear heels without pain (last night), some other story on weightloss, aaaaand repeat.) Fat chance, right? (Pun intended, haha.)
