I haven't had the rest of those conversations with my dog, but I've had the one above many times. If not about crisps, then something else.

He has me well trained. I'm no longer able to eat the last bite of toast without feeling guilty for not offering it to him. I get even by nibbling down the size of the bite first.

He's powerfully built; she's a slim,long-leggy blonde and they never lose their focus - it was beautiful to watch.

I do wonder though how many pairs of high heels she goes through walking backwards?

A special circle in hell is reserved for those who not only don't return their carts; they leave their carts behind someone else's vehicle, forcing another customer to deal with the left cart to get their groceries in the car, or to back out of the parking space.

I hope they roast for all eternity.

I'm with marishka. With sufficient motivation keeping pace behind me -- hell, yes! But there would be the devil to pay when I got to the finish line. Thereafter I may have to have my feet amputated.

My first thought regarding sensitivity to excessive scent wasn't of those with allergies, but those quarter-of-a-million women this year who will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Most of them will go through chemo and chemo makes one very sensitive to strong odors. Cologne can be nauseating. Chemo is usually a passing thing, over with in just a few months with a several more for recovery (assuming), but that's just one cancer.

Almost all of us know someone who has been through chemo and/or has a sensitivity to scent. It could just be the demographic I'm smelling these days, but it seems to me that the public in general has already toned down the amount of cologne they spray and splash on in the morning. I've noticed far fewer Pepe Le Pew-like scent trails wafting behind people. I've wondered if this was not a rising awareness on a very personal level to the effect strong odors can have on the senses of loved ones.

I don't think the problems and consequences of perfume/cologne wearing can be legislated away though. A public awareness campaign would be more helpful.
