The Atlanta Braves had been doing this as of last season- the inspiration was shortstop Andrelton Simmons' nickname "Simba". I'm not sure if they stopped after they traded him to the Angels, or if his new team has taken up the tradition.
For all those complaining about the Japanese car- note that Japan is clearly NOT crossed out on the back of the truck, so it's all good. The more I think about it though, there are so many nations, but only room for two dozen on his car. Are the flags that are present but not crossed out representing countries he expects to piss him off soon? Someone tell the Czech Republic they're on double secret probation.
This one from home, rather than science class. My mom (a chemical engineer) would often get on my case about keeping a clean room. She explained that the messy room was a state of greater entropy. By failing to keep it organized, I was recklessly dissipating free energy and hastening the heat death of the universe. Of course, after covering thermodynamics in high school physics, I was able to defend my habits more effectively. I pointed out that the room becoming messy was a spontaneous process, but restoring it to a state of order required additional work. Since no process is 100% efficient, picking up the room will only result in a greater increase in disorder somewhere else.

As a central New Yorker, I have to give mention to Sherlock Homes real estate in Auburn.
