It didn't scare me.
The child catcher from "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" gave me nightmares.

I've had several cats who would fetch. One was partial to those plastic rings from around the cap on a milk container. He would drop one on you whenever he wanted to play. Some mornings we would wake up with several milk rings on our pillows.

I saw Keira first as well. Her side seems slightly more dominant whether due to lighting or sizing considerations. And as to who is on the left? Natalie is on the left as you look at it. Keira is on the left side of the face.

I love cats but I can smell that place from here.

Moms often get jealous because babies get all excited when Dad walks up but lay calmly when Mom approaches. Moms are about nurturing and dads are about stimulation.

Upon reading the link, I am amazed at the sheer amount of vitriol leveled at those who choose to get tattooed. I wonder how many of those narrow minded bigots have body modifications of their own. No one comes into this world with steel puncturing their earlobes and boys are generally born with foreskins. Few even question these modifications in our society.
Tattoos have been around since the Neolithic era (at least). And I bet tattoo artists having been mistakes since then as well. Just like doctors, they are human beings. We all need to learn to be careful and informed consumers.

They look so much like her. No one will ever know they are adopted.

I just got finished doing the dishes, the laundry and the shopping and now it's time for the whining. But since I still have to cook dinner, scrub the floors, change some diapers, beat the rugs and "lay back and think of England" I'll just skip it for today.
This child is lucky to have nonjudgmental, supportive people in her life.
People who can't muster unconditional love should not procreate. It's the greatest contribution they can make to society.

It seems to me that the issue isn't the fact that the kids don't like the taste of the food. The issue is that the food is a catalyst for their ill treatment at the hands of other children. The tactic only works because the school district allows the children to bully and taunt each other.
Maybe if they try really hard and work together the "deadbeat" parents, the bullies and the authorities who encourage the bulllying can create a few school shooters. For $5 each.

It would seem that the "beautiful people" have almost outlived their usefulness.

What a beautiful gift she is giving those children. The death of someone close to you can make you feel powerless, especially if you are a child. By allowing them to participate in the "process" she is giving them a small measure of control over the situation. What a great teacher. There should be more like her, not less. I'm sure she will be missed by many.

If she is so worried about the negative effect of each individual on the planet's welfare she could commit suicide as the ultimate selfless act. Or she could go on a killing spree and then commit suicide. By her logic, the more people she could take out the better off the planet will be.
I don't begrudge anyone deciding not to have children. The reasons for or against are extremely personal. Unfortunately she has decided to judge me and declare me selfish.
And wouldn't it be a more truly selfless act if she did it in silence without seeking 15 minutes (probably more like 15 seconds) of fame?
