Spent espresso grounds are good for removing tar from your skin. They are mildly abrasive, an the oil helps displace tar from skin, while they also stick to the tar to let it fall off. Also works on tools, as long as there's not too much tar.
NOTE: by 'tar', I mean black tarry stuff used to repair minor roof leaks
Gate and its sequel are really great. There's some interesting tension there, because of Prime Minister Abe's current program of increasing Japanese militarism. The show is fun to watch.
Flying Witch is also quite good, if you like 'slice of life'. Very calming and slow . . . or boring.
A new show is "Sweetnes and Lightning" http://www.crunchyroll.com/sweetness-lightning I have not seen any episodes, yet, but it is well recommended and sounds really fun. Synopsis from Crunchyroll: Kohei is a single father and high school teacher who lives with his only daughter. A chance encounter brings him together with Kotori, one of his students. The three of them start to meet together to make meals. None of them know how to cook, but they all love delicious food! ”sweetness & lightning” is a heartwarming and fun experience that you're sure to love!
93 and 48 years. That's quite a fable in itself. One man who brought happiness to all around him lived to a ripe old age. The other, focused on gold, was murdered before at half that age.
I think that the U.S. cares. Our Asian allies are all over that region, and if they are brought into conflict, we are obliged to support them. The Tribunal was meant to hand down a ruling that would avoid escalation of conflict, but the parties involved must be willing to submit to the ruling. (*I don't know that we have a history of such submission*)
Oh! Oh! My brother had these! He kept throwing it into the bin with the 8-tracks, though, instead of using the clip to hang it, and so the tapes kept skipping tracks at inconvenient times. It was so annoying. . . . or maybe that's the way the track cuts were out of the box.
It's a spring loaded hanger for Peking Duck. The carcass is normally hung to dry the skin. You squeeze the two prongs together to fit the hanger into the cavity, and then let them spring back so the hanger won't come out. Now the duck can be hung conveniently by the ring! . . . or something.
