We don't have that here, we have a different slant, "as the actress said to the bishop" (although Wikipedia has it "said the actress to the bishop", never heard that before).
Just the other day I was wondering whether it's still possible to be a polymath, given the massive amount of information available in each specialty and the fact that a whole lifetime can be spent on one very narrow area of a subject and still mastery is elusive. I'm not suggesting this guy is but it makes for an interesting story.
They're know are "pig's trotters" in some parts of the UK. Poverty cuisine has seen an upturn because of the economic downturn; give haggis a try, you never know you might like it...
Not having a go, Alex, I have a lot of respect for the US and its people. It just seems kinda strange that all your money is still the same colour and size! We have green pound notes, blue fivers, brown tenners, purple 20s, red 50s and redder 100s! All different sizes, too. I'm sure our money would be reminiscent of Monopoly money to most US folks.
Plus, all the Euro notes have all different colours, sizes and designs and they're talking about introducing plastic notes like in Australia. Washed your jeans with a fiver in the pocket? No worries!
It wasn't a glass slipper but a furry one that the prince was after. He'd tried Cinderella's furry slipper and, as it didn't fit "just right", he had to try all the other furry slippers of all the other girls. Poor guy.
Tried again and the warning is still coming up. It doesn't happen very often and I know Comodo has saved me from some nasties so I'm going to trust it on this occasion.
I understand what the person who created that is trying to do, I know that in the West we have a cultural bias against eating most arthropods (terrestrial ones especially) but I don't want to be reminded of bloody insects or other vile creepy-crawlies when contemplating eating crab. Nasty person.

Far more important than any of those above.
Life is hard, sometimes.
